About
Hi I’m Kate. I am a Professional Organiser at A Hand to Help. One of my favourite things to do is to organise.
Even as a child organising was a favourite pastime. I was constantly rearranging my bedroom and repositioning my favourite boy band posters of the time. Not much has changed now that I am an adult. Only I have replaced the boy band posters with family photos and indoor plants.
Some call me the list queen. A list gives me clarity to plan the steps to achieve what I want and need to do. There is nothing I love more than sitting down with a cup of coffee and making a list. Whether it be a shopping list, planning an event list, my housework jobs I want to do that day list or a list to spruce up part of the house or a sort out list.
One thing I have come to realise, especially now that I am a parent, is that when things are organised and spaces are functional my mental clarity is greatly improved. My home is calm and much more pleasant to be in. As a Professional Organiser it is important that our clients feel that clarity and sense of satisfaction too, and that we have some fun and laughter along the way.
