About
Marion and her team at A Place of Calm provide compassionate, trauma-informed home management support for people overwhelmed by clutter and disorganisation, including those experiencing hoarding behaviours.
Understanding that hoarding and chronic disorganisation are often connected to complex emotional, mental health, and life circumstances, Marion and her team work patiently and without judgement. Support is practical and hands-on, guided by each client’s readiness, goals, and emotional wellbeing. There is no pressure, no shaming, and no expectation that change must happen all at once.
Clients are supported effectively even when:
• anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health challenges are present
• clutter has created safety or wellbeing risks within the home
• downsizing or significant life transitions feel overwhelming
A Place of Calm works collaboratively with clients, families, case managers, support coordinators, Home Care Package providers, community service agencies, and NDIS providers to ensure support is respectful, consistent, and sustainable.
Face-to-face services are provided across Geelong and surrounding areas, Colac, Werribee and its surrounds.
Support begins with understanding, not judgement.
